We are seeking a volunteer to be a friendly visitor for a woman that lives in W. Hartford. She is a pleasant person - bright, articulate, and friendly. She is a former nurse and has interest in crocheting and learning how to improve her basic skills in this area.
She'd benefit greatly from a weekly or biweekly friendly visit. Perhaps the visitor would also be interested to accompany her to local knitting stores also.
A weekly visit would brighten her day and allow her to feel connected to the community.
