Thank you for your interest in our ESL classes! We have discovered a need to add an additional ESL class specifically for the parents of our students who attend the Peachtree Presbyterian after school program. By helping to strengthen the English language skills of the parents, we help build strong families. We’re currently looking for volunteers to teach these new classes which will be at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.

Here are the details for the new ESL classes at Peachtree Presbyterian Church:

Mondays and Wednesdays

October 17 th - December 7th (the classes may be extended through December 17 th)

4:00pm - 5:30pm

Responsibilities and qualifications include:

• Plan and execute a lesson plan based on ESL curriculum
• Track student attendance
• Set up classrooms according to student registrations and expected attendance
• Complete student written assessments
• Communicate program needs to ESL Director on an ongoing basis
• Be 18 years or older
• Be a native or fluent English speaker
• Have regular access to email
• Have a desire to work with adults from different cultural, educational and economic backgrounds
• Commit to at least one day per week
