Training Workshop for Organizations

Do something about the mess we are in and help empower others.
Small businesses are struggling and need your experience to survive and maybe even thrive.
Join the Dayton SCORE team of business mentors. This is a way to use your experience to make Dayton a better place to live and work.

Our mentors and trainers help small businesses and nonprofit organizations with:

  • Reinventing themselves to respond to changes in 2020
  • Developing business plans, including marketing, strategy development, and financial projections
  • Managing people
  • Managing cash flow
  • Improving sales

Other activities of our members include training workshops, online and email counseling, marketing our chapter, raising funds, and chairing committees in marketing, recruiting and event planning.

Extensive training is available to help you refine their skills and develop new ones.

We enjoy the sense of teamwork that exists in our organization.

Strengthen small businesses and nonprofit organizations in the Dayton, Ohio area. Support our local communities and America by supporting our nation's proud heritage of entrepreneurs seeking opportunities and building success.


SCORE "Counselors of America’s Small Business Owners" is a national association dedicated to helping small business owners form and grow their businesses. The Dayton Chapter of SCORE also supports local nonprofit organizations through a series of six workshops on Fundraising, Planning, Board Development, Marketing, Financial Management, and Volunteer Management. Members also provide face to face client mentoring.
