We need your help to make this event a magical experience for everyone! Celebrate the start of the Holidays in the City season by volunteering for the Grand Illumination Parade on Saturday, November 19, 2016. We have volunteer opportunities for groups, organizations, and individuals. This is your chance to show your dedication to the community. The Parade also offers the opportunity to provide branded volunteers from your organization and company. Be a part of the greatest holiday parade in Hampton Roads!
As a volunteer you can expect:
- Training prior to parade day
- FREE parking on the evening of the Parade
- Official 2016 Holidays in the City commemorative item

Description
The Downtown Norfolk Council (DNC) is a private, not-for-profit membership organization comprised of businesses and individuals working toward a dynamic, attractive and prosperous downtown.
DNC also manages the Downtown Improvement District, a special 48-block assessment district providing services to keep downtown friendly, safe and spotless.
