Free Bird is a 501(C)(3)non-profit organization based in New York City. Our focus is to provide children, ages 4-18 who are patients or survivors of juvenile cancer, the opportunity to explore their artistic passions and give them the strength to fight their disease. We believe that artistic expression is critical for healing! A Free Bird supports children affected by cancer in their exploration of art, music, acting, poetry, writing, singing and any other artistic passion they may have.

Our program strives to provide each child, whether fighting cancer or in remission from cancer, with the inspiration to pursue their own personal and artistic DREAM! Through A Free Bird(tm), these children engage with the flourishing NYC arts community and view the work of visionaries in their chosen artistic disciplines first- hand - whether on stage at a Broadway Theatre, within the legendary Metropolitan Museum of Art, or on a New York Fashion Week runway!

DREAM provides the tickets for a young artist, his or her parental guardian, and an A Free Bird supervisor to attend one of the many artistic venues in New York City!
