UPDATE: Due to forecasted inclement weather and freezing site conditions, this planting is postponed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your flexibility!
If you love being outdoors and want to help your community in a fun and healthy way, join Friends of Trees as we plant native trees and shrubs along Chastain Creek! This planting is in partnership with Johnson Creek Watershed Council, East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, Metro, and the City of Gresham.
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. Look for Friends of Trees signs to help guide you. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!
