Volunteers for Community Impact

Seniors

The Community Hope Center is a program-based project that impacts the low-income, poverty level families and individuals living in and around Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to assist those living homeless or in motels and hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor. This program restores dignity and self-sufficiency to those in need in our community through a holistic approach to case management, funds assistance, and life skills. Volunteers are the backbone of this organization and can help in many ways:

  • Client Intake
  • Food Pantry Support
  • Gardening Support
  • Life Skills
  • Employment
  • Housing

The Community Hope Center provides the necessary training for each volunteer position. Volunteers for Community Impact's part in this opportunity is to provide volunteers who are 55+ with a (free) comprehensive benefits package (inclusive of accident, personal liability and automobile liability insurance, a life Insurance benefit, free workshops and more) during the hours that you volunteer! Please contact the RSVP Osceola Coordinator for more information: 407-298-4180, x 108 / rsvp.osceola@vcifl.org
