Rover's Retreat is looking for foster homes for our dogs. As a foster you will treat the dog as one of your own...give him/her exercise, play, and love. We may also ask you take the dog to one of our veterinarians for a check up or vaccinations. Most importantly, you will help assess the dog's personality so we can find the best adopter for the dog. Dogs typically stay in foster care less than a month. Rover's Retreat doesn't kennel our dogs...we only individually foster them. Fosters save lives, and every new foster home helps us rescue another dog. Please join us!

About Rovers Retreat Dog Rescue

Mission Statement

We are a rescue for fostering and adopting homelwas dogs.

Description

Our rescue was born out of a need to be an advocate for dogs who can't speak for themselves. We provide dog rescue and dog adoption in San Diego as well as foster homes and care for dogs who are in need of care and a safe haven, and they are waiting to meet you and your family today! We know that it takes a lot of love, hard work and dedication to help these dogs, but these animals make it worth every ounce of energy we put into it. Our long term goal is to build a safe haven where each of our special dogs can recover from injuries, to have a safe place to grow old, or to be showered with love until they find that special person who will share their forever home with them. Rover's Retreat dog rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization staffed only by volunteers. All vet bills and costs are covered by tax-deductible donations from people just like you! Please help in any way you can by volunteering, donating, or adopting!
