Our rescue was born out of a need to be an advocate for dogs who can't speak for themselves. We provide dog rescue and dog adoption in San Diego as well as foster homes and care for dogs who are in need of care and a safe haven, and they are waiting to meet you and your family today! We know that it takes a lot of love, hard work and dedication to help these dogs, but these animals make it worth every ounce of energy we put into it. Our long term goal is to build a safe haven where each of our special dogs can recover from injuries, to have a safe place to grow old, or to be showered with love until they find that special person who will share their forever home with them. Rover's Retreat dog rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization staffed only by volunteers. All vet bills and costs are covered by tax-deductible donations from people just like you!
