Help us do more for our families by helping us get out the word about our work!

Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) needs volunteers in our office in Fairfax City on Tuesday, October 10 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help us assemble our fall print newsletter to mail to our supporters. This volunteer project is vital to our community outreach efforts that help us assist our clients: working families and individuals who live throughout the Fairfax County area and are struggling financially.

The job entails inserting a reply envelope into the newsletters, applying seals to 3 sides, labeling them and ensuring that all newsletters are kept in zip code order. There are approximately 5,000 pieces in this mailing.

This project requires precision and attention to detail. It is not recommended for children younger than 12. Youth under age 13 should volunteer with an adult.
