Culpeper Literacy Council provides instruction to adults in our community who need to improve their reading and math skills or learn to read, write and speak English.
Once a person completes the training, the tutor is matched with a student or class, and can volunteer up to two hours per week. CLC asks for a 9 -12 month commitment from our volunteer tutors.
We are currently in need of tutors to serve as:
- Basic Literacy One-on-One tutors focusing on reading and math improvement
- ESOL tutors (day and evening schedules available)
