NKUT Super Adoption is a cooperative effort in which shelters and rescue groups come together in a free, fun, festival-like atmosphere to find homes for hundreds of animals during a weekend. More than 800 adoptable animals will be featured from 21 shelters and rescue groups, each committed to making Utah a no-kill state.
Although this event happens twice a year each year, this is our first time holding it outside of Salt Lake County. We are excited to bring this awesome event to south Davis County and we'd love your help making it the best one yet!
We need lots of volunteers to help us set up and tear down the event, and a few more to fill shifts during the event to make sure it runs smoothly. We provide lunch and snacks for most volunteer shifts, a Best Friends Volunteer t-shirt, and during the event days you'll be around lots of great animals. You'll be able to walk away knowing that you helped save their lives, and the lives of so many other animals in shelters!
Volunteers will need to create an account at volunteers.bestfriends.org and sign up for a shift on the BFAS-UT: Super Adoption calendar. The system will walk you through the steps, it's quick and easy!
