Make a positive difference in the lives of children and families while gaining valuable experience at one of the largest nonprofits in the county. SAY San Diego offer social services to 75,500 San Diegans every year through child and youth development, family support services, and community engagement.
SAY San Diego’s Resource Development Department is seeking a highly motivated volunteer to assist with Adopt A Family (our largest event of the year) and the Resource Development Department. You will to learn a broad range of skills like event planning, marketing, communications, grant research, and donor relations.
- Provide event support ( fundraising events, receptions, in-kind drives)
- Help secure in-kind donations for events
- Assist with marketing efforts and distribution of event fliers in support of programs
- Donor outreach and communications
- Support volunteers
- Archive materials by scanning or prepping for storage
- Provide research support for communications and grant activity
- Respond to general information inquiries
