This project is part of a Museum-wide initiative to practice deeper listening with our audience and stakeholders. In this project, we are hosting three focus groups with parenting adults in the Twin Cities: one with the Museum’s current core demographic, one with Hmong adults, and one with African American adults. The purpose of the focus groups is to gather feedback on the Museum’s "Delighting Adults" strategies in the new Forces at Play gallery (opening August 2016). One of the strategies at the core of Delighting Adults is recognizing their interests and inspiring them to play and explore. The feedback and insights gained through these sessions will inform the strategies used in the other new galleries, as well as projects in the future.
