Gentiva Hospice

As a volunteer for Gentiva, you can make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. After completing our volunteer training course, you will visit patients in their homes (be a home, senior apartments, Assisted Living or skilled nursing facility), providing companionship and friendly visits.
Volunteers are assigned to visit patients that live in their neighborhood. In most situations, visiting hours are flexible and you will be able to visit patients on your schedule, when it is most convenient for you.
Visitor volunteers do NOT perform any medical or personal cares. Your job is just to visit as a friendly neighbor - visit, read, sing, play card/games and or share memories!
