WhoWhatWhy, an up-and-coming non-profit investigative and analytical news site that specializes in responsibly tackling the many subjects and stories the mainstream media shies away from, is looking for a publicity strategist.
Publicity focuses on getting unpaid attention to one’s product or service. It usually involves reaching out to outside media and trying to interest them in our stories and our people.Requirements:
-Applicants should have at least 10 years experience in Public Relations, with at least some of it in managing a PR department, hiring, and setting objectives and strategy.
-Having done PR fora news organization is a big plus.
This is a pro bono position. You will find the work gratifying and colleagues talented and supportive. Please thoroughly and carefully study our site, then show us and tell us why you’d be a good fit.
