WhoWhatWhy, an up-and-coming non-profit investigative and analytical news site that specializes in responsibly tackling the many subjects and stories the mainstream media shies away from, is looking for a publicity strategist.

Position summary:

Publicity focuses on getting unpaid attention to one’s product or service. It usually involves reaching out to outside media and trying to interest them in our stories and our people.


-Applicants should have at least 10 years experience in Public Relations, with at least some of it in managing a PR department, hiring, and setting objectives and strategy.

-Having done PR fora news organization is a big plus.

This is a pro bono position. You will find the work gratifying and colleagues talented and supportive. Please thoroughly and carefully study our site, then show us and tell us why you’d be a good fit.

Please aware that this is an unpaid volunteer job, but I promise you will love to with us and learn a lot from here!
