Come and be a part of an exciting community initiative in SE Portland! The Errol Heights event on Oct 15th is the first of four plantings at a newly-acquired addition to Errol Heights Natural Area!
This planting is in conjunction with Portland Parks and Recreation, Bureau of Environmental Services, Metro, Friends of Errol Heights, Portland Parks Foundation, and The Johnson Creek Watershed Council as part of Portland Parks and Recreation's Parke Diem event!
Volunteers should come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun! Friends of Trees will provides gloves, tools, and planting guidance.

Friends of Trees is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization which organizes tree planting and care events in neighborhoods, natural areas and on school grounds in partnership with the community, government and businesses.
Since Friends of Trees was founded in 1989, our volunteers have planted more than 750,000 trees and native plants!
