Ebenezer / LARGE Group Volunteer Opportunity 20-25 People
Escort residents from all 4 of our Minneapolis Campus sites across the street to the American-Swedish Institute for their Quilting Art Today Exhibit and Turnblad Mansion tours on Thursday, Oct 13 2:00-4:00pm . Volunteers will meet at the entrance to the Nelson Cultural Center at 1:15 for wheelchair training, (2600 Park Ave S.) then in small groups walk to Ebenezer Loren on Park, Park Apartments, our Care Center and Tower Apartments to push residents in wheelchairs and assist others in crossing the street safely. Volunteers are expected to accompany their assigned resident and enjoy the exhibition, tour and refreshments as well. Help us make this event a big success!
