Codman Square NDC seeks an enthusiastic and eager to learn individual to serve as a volunteer/intern in the fundraising department. The Fundraising Intern will be responsible for being an important part of the Development team by providing much needed administrative support including data entry, mailings, donor calls, email marketing, and event support. This is a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of fundraising including marketing, communications, donor engagement and cultivation.
We have several events planned this Fall/Winter including our annual phone-a-thon, our Giving Tuesday Breakfast, and more!
This volunteering experience may be used as class credit and is a great addition to your resume!
Make a difference in the Codman Square community by helping us to fundraise for important programs like affordable housing, youth programming, financial literacy for families and more!

Description
The Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation (CSNDC) is a community development corporation (CDC) that has worked in partnership with neighbors and neighborhood institutions to rebuild the Southern Dorchester community for the past 33 years.
Our line of work includes:
- the rehabilitation and construction of housing and commercial real estate development.
- business development opportunities.
- a computer learning center.
- financial literacy programs.
- foreclosure prevention counseling.
- youth development programs.
- engaging residents in community organizing.
