Pay it forward by volunteering for a non-profit in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. As the office manager, I am looking for an extra set of hands to help around the office with a variety of tasks such as...

  • Putting care packs "blankets of hope" together for patients
  • Printing shipping labels (will teach)
  • Packaging and shipping out care packs.
  • Putting together and restocking race day kits to later be mailed out to our marathon runners.
  • Restocking, counting, and organizing inventory.
  • Filing paperwork
  • Assisting with special projects around the office


Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 10 lbs.
  • Minium hour requirement of at least 1-2 hours each visit with 1 visit per week

Our office is open Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm, (closed on Federal holidays).

We will train you on anything and everything. It's a great learning experience and an opportunity to grow your resume. Ideal for students who need volunteer hours for sports, the National Honor Society, or other programs alike.

Description

Project Purple is a leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds towards a cure for pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the second most common cause of cancer related deaths in the United States and has a five-year survival rate of less than ten percent. Project Purple strives to provide funds towards critical research to discover an early detection tool and offering financial aid to pancreatic cancer patients fighting this disease.
