As you know, needy animals in our community go without proper food, shelter, and essential medical care every day due to a variety of factors including injuries, illness, age, etc. While they are susceptible to hard times, our group is making a difference.

PitStop Pit Bull Rescue Transport 501(c) 3 non-profit is a Rescue and Shelter Support Team. We assist many shelters and rescues on the East Coast by providing FREE transport services, as well as, medical, training, and boarding sponsorships. In addition, we provide donations of food, dog beds, kennels, collars, leashes, dog toys etc., and all the niceties that Rescues and Shelters often lack due to funding deficits.

In 2014, #TeamPitStop completed our first Extreme Shelter Makeover for Clay County Animal Control in Greencove Springs, FL which included Painting, Landscaping, New Signage, Cleaning, Supplies, New Play Yards, etc. This helped improve the shelter for the animals, animal control personnel, and potential adopters.

It's 2016 and now #TeamPitStop wants to help our friends at K&C Pet Rescue with an Extreme Shelter Makeover of their own. K & C Pet Rescue & Adoption Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter. They have serviced Jacksonville and the surrounding Northeast Florida area since 1977. K&C is located in a rural area and is run by a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless animals. They currently provide sanctuary to well over 100 animals including dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, pigs, horses, donkeys, turkeys, water buffalo and an alpaca. As you can imagine it takes thousands of dollars just to feed and vet these animals. Our goal is to help them get the much needed repairs to the shelter done and get everything ready for winter.
