Help Euclid and Cleveland students become better readers!

In just a few hours per week, you can impact a young reader!

Opportunities available at Chardon Hills Elementary and Bluestone.
(Additional opportunities available in Cleveland schools: Clara Westropp; Tremont; Joseph Gallagher; Mound STEM; Nathan Hale; and Andrew Rickoff)

Training provided. Tutoring occurs during the school day, 2 times per week. Work one-on-one with students in grades 1-3. You will be working on reading fluency (reading like we speak)using the Reading A to Z leveled reading books.

Must attend trainings and be able to commit to tutoring from October-May , 2 days per week.

All are welcome and we strongly encourage volunteers who are people of color, indigenous, immigrants, refugees, and LGBTQ+ to apply. Monthly allowances may be available.

Volunteers must have basic computer skills or be willing to learn.

This is a great opportunity to make a huge impact on a child's future!

Program of the AARP Foundation, so all volunteers must be age 50+!
