Can you imagine a world where you struggle with reading, writing or speaking English? For many in our fair city, literacy issues are a daily reality. But there is hope! Literacy Connections has been teaching adults for 40+ years. We are a volunteer-based non-profit organization and we offer the opportunity to make a tangible impact in someone's life while enriching your own. Literacy Connections is dedicated to developing and offering programs and services to support a literate society. We recruit and train volunteers to provide no-cost student-centered tutoring primarily for adults, and we offer programs and services for children and families that promote independence and enrichment through literacy.
