Purpose of Position
Welcome and greet visitors wishing to take self-guided tours through the aircraft in the Aviation Pavilion. Volunteers rotate among Air Force One, BAC Concorde, Boeing 787, and Boeing 747. Volunteers provide customer service such as answering questions about these exhibits, taking count of visitors going inside, and monitoring traffic flow. It is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and support four of the Museum’s most popular artifacts.

Keep tally of how many visitors enter the exhibit
Interest in aviation/airplanes
Able to use cellphones
Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older
Pavilion Ambassadors are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per month. Shifts available are 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Onsite training will be provided including information on each aircraft.
Physical Requirements and Safety Concerns
Pavilion Ambassadors may be required to climb stairs and stand for extended periods of time.
Pavilion Ambassadors are required to dress for the weather. No advertisements will be allowed on shirts, unless they are aviation related. Pavilion Ambassadors will report to the Airpark Lead.
