Use your skills to help hospice patients live better. Sacred Journey is looking for a volunteer with experience and skills to complete small handy projects like mounting tvs in patient rooms, touching up paint, oiling doors, filling bird feeders, and other similar tasks.
This role is very flexible and tasks might vary each time you come in, but will always fall under maintenance and repairs.
It is a fun role, with lots of flexibility in both task and schedule.
Occassional help may be needed in a patient's home, but is not required.

The mission of Sacred Journey Hospice is to provide compassionate physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families while enabling them to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with issues related to a life-limiting illness.
Description
Sacred Journey Hospice provides care to patients who have a terminal illness and their families. We visit patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, our 24/7 inpatient unit or wherever else they may be to provide care on a huge spectrum. We provide for medical, therapuetic (physical, speech, emotional, etc), equipment, medication, supplies, spiritual, social, daily living, veteran and many other needs. Volunteers are a HUGE part of our patient care goals.
