Special Equestrians is looking for volunteers to assist in our Therapeutic horseback riding classes this Spring! Volunteers are needed to participate as side walkers, who assist special needs riders while they are on the horse. No knowledge about horses is needed, however volunteers with advanced horse experience may also participate as horse handlers, who lead and care for the horses before, during, and after class. Therapeutic riding classes take place Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and volunteers are asked to commit to coming to at least one 2-3 hr session once a week. If you have any questions or are interesting in volunteering please let us know!

SPECIAL EQUESTRIANS, INC.If you like horses, the outdoors, and helping people, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Please join the force of over 200 volunteers that assist Special Equestrians, Inc. Special Equestrians, Inc. is a therapeutic horseback riding program for people with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. All levels of experience are available (no horse experience necessary); just attend one of our Volunteer Training sessions February 5 th or February 7 th.
