English-to-Spanish Translators for PTA Communications

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Rose Hiil Elementary School is in need of volunteers to assist with translating its communications from English to Spanish. We’re seeking volunteers who have excellent written English and Spanish skills as well as basic computer and web use skills.
We are a highly diverse school in the suburbs of Washington, DC, but you can do this from anywhere with an Internet connection! In fact, one of our current translators lives in Cambodia!
Throughout the school year, we typically publish two or three items on our web site at https://rosehillpta.org each week. We’re building a team of translators among whom we can spread the load. For the shorter translation jobs, our goal would be a 24 hour turnaround for each job, but we can be flexible. If one translator doesn’t have the time do one job, we can send it to another translator. Most translations will be done on our web site, which has a software to assist translators. Translators receive an email with link to a translation job, they translate the text on the directly site, and mark the translation complete. Some translations will be done through simple email or Word documents.
