Mission Statement

The purposes of the Rose Hill Elementary School PTA, in common with those of the Virginia PTA and the National PTA, are: To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. To raise the standards of home life. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

Description

The Rose Hill Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a network of families, teachers and staff volunteers devoted to the educational success of Rose Hill Elementary School. Together we are a powerful voice for our children. We work as a team to further enrich our children’s school experiences through social events, our enrichment program and fundraising efforts.

The Rose Hill PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association. Membership in the PTA is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.
