Student Orientation Helpers Needed @ The Literacy Alliance 30,000 residents in Allen County lack a high school diploma but only 4% are enrolled in classes that can help them earn a diploma. Help at orientation events by assisting with paperwork and answering basic questions about enrollment with The Literacy Alliance. Volunteer commitment:
- 4 hours a month- you pick the days and times you want to help!
- You will serve as part of a volunteer team and will help make a difference in the lives of many families.

Description
Learning centers enable adult students to prepare to earn their High School Equivalency (HSE, past: GED) and strengthen basic skills for job training and post secondary education. One-on-one tutoring helps adults strengthen their basic reading, math, and language skills.
