Opportunity only available during regular business hours of Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
If you're skilled in Excel and other administrative tasks, we'd love your help! The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is looking for volunteers who love data entry and like to see their fruits of their labor at the end of the day. Our office is casual, fun, and located right across the street from a grocery store and other restaurants. Join others in making a difference by volunteering your time and talents to help stop MS in our lifetime.
Great opportunity for someone looking to donate a few hours each week or to get more experience in an office environment.
YOUR SKILLS. YOUR TALENTS. YOUR PASSION. WE NEED YOU.

Mission Statement
We will cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives.
Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. The Mid America Chapter serves 159 counties in Kansas and Missouri.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers two key fundraising activities: Bike MS, and Walk MS Walk. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
