The American Cancer Society Celebration of HOPE is looking for some passionate individuals who are united against all cancers and determined to free the world from the pain and suffering of the disease!
Throughout the calendar year this group will be responsible for planning the Celebration of HOPE! All money raised through these efforts will support the American Cancer Society programs, services, research and more!
Communication will be on a regular base and the committee will come together as needed to plan a successful event.
Through this endeavor you will get to support and work with your local community, build friendships and business relationships, learn new skills and most importantly make a difference in cancer!
ROLES. Below is a broad overview of committee needs for fundraising. Each event will have positions tailored to execute them.
Chairperson / Co-Chairpeople - oversee the committee and campaigns, keep the event planning and committee on track. Key point of contact for committee members and liaise with Celebration of HOPE staff member.
Team Recruitment - gain local support of the event(s); community, faith-based, schools, worksite and sponsorship/underwriting
Production - responsible for the delivery of the elements of the event that have impact.
Day Of - ensures the event happens and keeping it running smoothly thoughout the end.
