About

Interested in an incredibly rewarding experience? Join our Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteer Team! Visit our patients to ease lonliness and provide companionship, work in our office or help with creative projects to offer thoughtful support!

Our Patient Care Volunteers offer kindness, attention and thoughtful support to our hospice patients and families at a time when it means the most. PC Volunteers visit patients and/or hospice family members one hour a week to provide a caring presence, ease loneliness and provide help with errands or enjoyable activities.

Our Office Volunteers lend a hand with mailings sent to support our patients and families, making admission packets, as well as many other office projects and duties that support our field and office staffs.

Our Special Project Volunteers do creative projects, often from home, that help us to provide thoughtful and uplifting special gestures to our patients and families. Sewing, crochetting, quilting, painting, etc., etc., etc.!

Volunteers mean so much to our patients, families and staff! Training and great support from the hospice staff will be provided to you! Visit our website at: www.goodshepherdhospice.com or contact Pamela Williams at 713-664-4447 or pamela.williams@goodshepherdhospice.com for more information.

Give us a call and let’s talk about the many ways you can volunteer!
