Our hospice volunteers provide a respite to primary caregivers and positive interaction with our patients. This allows caregivers to take a break & recharge. Our volunteers spend time with patients playing cards, sharing stories, reading aloud, or creating memory books to share with families. They might also help with basic chores around the house like raking leaves, helping with housekeeping, or running errands. These small efforts can go a long way to help families cope and focus on the patient.
A listening ear and warm smile are all you need to make our patients' days brighter. If you are willing and able to help meet this need please contact us.

Description
Anova is a provider of Home Health and Hospice Services
The Hospice program is reflective of a spirit and idea of caring that emphasizes comfort and dignity for the dying, making it possible for them to remain independent for as long as possible, and in familiar surroundings. Hospice care is centered on the lifestyle, values, and wishes of both the patient and family/caregiver. Utilizing a team approach of physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, volunteers, spiritual counselors, bereavement counselors, and others we provide in-home care, short-term inpatient services, mobilization and coordination of ancillary services and bereavement support.
