Join Park Rangers for a morning of coastal cleanup, landscape beautification, and exotic plant removal by beautiful Biscayne Bay. The park will provide complimentary admission, lunch, and a tour of the house museum for pre-registered volunteers. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental consent and be accompanied by a participating adult. Long pants and sleeves are recommended. Onsite parking is limited to vehicles with a Disabled Person Parking Permit. Plentiful offsite metered parking is available curbside or in several nearby lots and garages.

Description
The Barnacle Historic State Park is a special feature site in the Florida Park Service. Being the oldest residence in Miami-dade County in it's original location, it is one of the pioneer homesteads in South Florida. It is a museum consisting of the home, boathouse & grounds of Commodore Ralph M. Munroe. The Munroes lived here from 1886 until 1973 when it became a state park.
