ORGANIZATION: KNOW YOUR CITY

  • 4 people are interested

Know Your City is a nonprofit in Portland, Oregon that is dedicated to empowering the people of Portland to resist gentrification through creative placemaking, community education, and creating publications that give the megaphone to traditionally marginalized populations.

Through our tours (such as The People's History of Portland, Hidden History of Albina, and Pride Forever), publication programs (such as Youth Print PDX, Oregon History Comics, and Comics for Change), and community forums (such as America's Next Top Candidate, Reclaiming our Histories, and Streetopia), we educate and empower the community.

We need your help keeping the important work that we do going!

If you are interested in supporting us through proofreading and writing grants, please inquire through this post. We would love to get you involved.

Thank you for your time and energy.

Warmly,

The KYC staff & volunteers
