The Center for Independent Living (CIL) helps individuals with disabilities by breaking down barriers, giving them more accessibility and inclusion opportunities for work, education and play!
CIL is hosting a one-day Medical Equipment Give Away Day on Tuesday 7-26-2016 and is seeking TOTE N CARRY ASSISTANTS (SHIFT II) to help load wheelchairs, walkers & other donated medical equipment into people's cars.
CIL will provide all volunteers with t-shirts, and plenty of water. You may want to pack a lunch or bring some lunch money if you plan to stay on longer and help with additional assignments.
Volunteers would need to sign a volunteer form, waiver and photo consent form (if under 18, volunteers parent must sign)
Dress Code: Close toe shoes i.e.) tennis shoes, workout clothes, clothes you don't mind if they should get a little dirty.
