The Center for Independent Living (CIL) helps individuals with disabilities by breaking down barriers, giving them more accessibility and inclusion opportunities for work, education and play!
CIL is preparing to host a one-day medical assistance equipment day and is seeking individuals like you to come flex your muscles and help unload their warehouse. Equipment varies and includes items like wheelchairs and walkers. Help dust & shine, tag and load equipment from storage into a U-Haul truck.
CIL will provide all volunteers with t-shirts, lunch and of course plenty of water
Volunteers would need to sign a volunteer form, waiver and photo consent form (if under 18, volunteers parent must sign)
Dress Code: Close toe shoes i.e.) tennis shoes, workout clothes, clothes you don't mind if they should get a little dirty.
