Esperanza Staff

Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project is a public interest organization dedicated to helping vulnerable immigrants in the greater Los Angeles area. We offer pro bono and low cost direct representation, and community education to immigrant communities.

Esperanza seeks creative self-starters to assist with fundraising and helping our organization grow! Volunteers can be involved in developing, planning, and organizing fundraisers. They can also be responsible for grant research, grant writing, and other development needs. This opportunity is perfect for creative individuals with fundraising experience who want to take the lead in these project.

Volunteering with Esperanza is guaranteed to be a hugely rewarding experience!

Esperanza is dedicated to serving the vulnerable immigrant population of Los Angeles. Esperanza zealously advocates on behalf of clients while also empowering them through legal education and workshops.

Description

Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., serves espercially vulnerale immigrants fighting against removal from the United States. Esperanza mostly provides legal services to children who are fighting against removal, however Esperanza also has clients in federal immigration detention centers. Esperanza provides direct representation, pro bono placement and pro se legal education.
