CARE. A simple but powerful word. If you have the capacity to care about others, to show compassion, to listen to stories, then you have what it takes to become a hospice volunteer. Your neighbors in the Littleton area need your help to support them in their hospice journey. No medical or personal care involved - just simple presence.

Companionship visits are simple, caring interactions but mean the world to our patients. Some of our patients appreciate companions that will brush their hair or lotion their arms, others reading or listening to music, sometimes just being present while they nap or watch a movie. That companionship allows temporary caregiver relief, so they can get groceries or just take a nap. Companionship is presence, not physical caretaker or aide support.

If you have completed volunteer training with another hospice, some of it is transferrable. Please get in touch if you are ready to dive in, we have a few patients in the area requesting support.

Volunteer training is provided as well as ongoing support and education opportunities to be sure you feel ready and equipped to help our patients. We look forward to connecting with you!
