ORGANIZATION: A Free Bird

  • 1 person is interested

A Free Bird is a non-profit organization working out of New York City that aims to provide children, ages 4-18, diagnosed with cancer the opportunity to explore their artistic passions and give them the strength to fight their disease. We believe that artistic expression is critical for healing! During our Fight Free Program, we have children meet with their tutor for 12 weeks for an hour per week. The tutor then teaches the child how to do a specific art form and works with the Programs Director as well to make sure the child is excelling each week in their art form chosen.

A Guitar Tutor is needed for one of our children in Staten Island. The Guitar tutor must be able to submit video of work performed. A Resume must be submitted and if you have worked with children before as a tutor or in any aspect with any diseases.

Note: Tutor must be able to travel to Staten Island to teach the lessons for one hour per week for 12 weeks

Please submit your resume with SUBJ: Guitar Tutor to: internships@afreebird.org
