ORGANIZATION: Volunteer Polk

  • A museum / cultural center is much more than just a building with a collection of artifacts.
  • It embodies a deeper exploration of what defines and unites a community (it's history of victories and challenges, the character of its people) and provides inspiration and vision for a future.
Ambassadors, ages 15 - Adults, will serve in a variety of ways. Volunteer Opportunities include :
  • Greeting visitors,
  • Answering questions,
  • Assisting in gift shop,
  • Interpreting or explaining exhibits,
  • Educating patrons and/or
  • Assisting with collections objects.

Choose any day(s): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday.

Choose any shift: 8:30 a.m. - Noon; or Noon - 5 p.m. (Student schedules may be adjusted when school is in session, to accommodate their availability.)
