Kaiser Permanente Redwood City has an opening for a volunteer in its Hospice Program. Kaiser's Hospice Program provides care to patients who are at the end-of-life. We are currently seeking a volunteer who can work in our office downtown RWC two hours per week (VERY Flexible) helping us preparing bereavement note cards for families whose loved one has just died. You will receive training to use Kaiser's medical database (similar to EPIC). There is also an opportunity for you to help prepare bereavement mailings that provide family members with carefully crafted and researched counseling materials.

Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one year and must be at least18 years old. Kaiser Hospice takes COVID safety seriously and all staff members/volunteers are required to wear a face mask in the office.

Kaiser Hospice requires applicants to authorize a background check, take a drug test, and complete a health screening/TB test.

Come join a team that truly makes a difference! We LOVE our volunteers!
