Technology Research Services (TRS) is currently seeking a volunteer to aid with LinkedIn integrations. This project is part of the TRS "Development 4 Good (D4G) initiative. Student participation is welcomed and experienced developers are sought. The volunteer LinkedIn REST API developer working on the D4G project will work with a minimal of 2 collaborators on this activity with access to more developer resources as needed. Technology Research Services (TRS) is a nonprofit corporation recognized as a 501C3 charitable organization. TRS focuses on innovative technology based on new and existing research. The company’s core business model focuses on identifying causes impacting our lives, establishing or investigating the needed research, and commercializing the technology needed to make an immediate impact on society. This approach is based on a research-to-rapid prototyping methodology where emphasis is based on short-term innovative solutions through the implementation of technology.

TRS was Founded in 2008 and reorganized in 2012, as an education based innovator. Our staff and support team combines industry and academia to identify the latest technology through student-led research while collaborating with industry leaders to produce solutions impactful to the end-users.

Are you experienced with the LinkedIn REST API?

Our organization seeks a LinkedIn developer to work with our Salesforce developer in a collaborative effort to implement volunteer opportunity sharing between our vportal (volunteer portal). The ideal volunteer will work on a short and very near term goal to allow volunteers to share our wonderful volunteer opportunities with their connections or subscribing groups. The ideal implementation would be a simple page share that allows content share from our website to LinkedIn. Other great skills include (but are not required):

*OAuth 2.0 (Exclusive skills in logging into websites with LinkedIn credentials)

*Mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) for iOS (Exclusive skills in integrating LinkedIn with iOS products)
