A volunteer driver is needed to go to Costco on 2746 N. Clybourn Avenue on the 2nd Thursday of each month to pick up donations of bread and other non-perishable food.
A valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
A station wagon will be provided for use by the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Pick up times are between 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
Pushing of a food cart is required with very limited lifting.
Loading food into cardboard boxes is also required.
Traninig will be provided for you for any interested volunteers.
A volunteer application must be completed.
A meeting with the volunteer coordinator will be scheduled.
A criminal background check will be done at no cost to the volunteer.
