The Arkansas Blood Institute is looking for interested volunteers to help with developing our Kids Care Program in the Fort Smith area!
The Kids Care Program serves as an opportunity for the Arkansas Blood Institute to give back to our community's schools through providing educational presentations and providing assistance with setting up and promoting blood drives at local schools.
Program presenters will perform the following duties:
1. Providing presentations about the the function of blood and the importance of blood donations.
2. Leading or assisting teachers in in classroom activities cocnerning blood and blood donation.
3. Promoting school blood drives.
This opportunity is great for a retired teacher or even a student teacher wanting to expand their expereience!
All training and materials will be provided by teh Arkansas Blood Institute.
