Job Description
The Volunteer Care Specialist will report directly to the Volunteer Care Manager and will work collaboratively with all of The Cupcake Girls departments. Specifically, this specialist is responsible for consistently connecting with our volunteer base to make sure each individual feels empowered in his/her role, enjoys the assigned work and feels valued by this organization. S/he will play an integral role in the volunteer process, from prospective volunteers attending an orientation to volunteers leaving this organization.
Principal Responsibilities
Attend volunteer orientations and assist as needed.
Attend Monday and Wednesday volunteer events as frequently as possible.
Meet with each volunteer twice annually to assess enjoyment of role and if any changes
need to be made.
Connect with volunteers experiencing difficult life situations and offer support.
Reach out to volunteers going through positive life scenarios and offer encouragement.
Document volunteer meetings in a clear manner and upload notes to Podio.
Track the volunteer meeting schedule via Podio.
Report meeting outcomes to the appropriate Specialist or Manager.
Assist with volunteer exit process if requested.
Connect with volunteer care team members monthly via Podio and team meetings.
Fill out 15five report weekly.
Commit to 10 hours per week of concentrated work in your role.
Log office hours and track team office hours in Podio.
Attend scheduled specialist meetings.
Connect biweekly with the Volunteer Care Specialist in your sister city.

We partner with our clients to build comprehensive, holistic plans to help them pursue their goals and objectives, working to ensure that we're matching the right solutions to the right individual at the right time.
