Why Should I Volunteer for a Hospice?

Volunteers provide important services to hospice organizations and the people they serve. You can gain great personal satisfaction from knowing that you have made an impact in not only another person's end of life transition, but their entire family network as well. Just by providing the smallest bit of support for these families in need, you will be an important member of the hospice team and remembered by their family and friends for years to come.

What Can I Expect to do as A Volunteer?

YOU tell us what interests you have, we match with you a patient who has similar interests. Whether its providing companionship to a person in the final months and weeks of life, offering support to family members and caregivers or helping with community outreach and fundraising, the contributions of volunteers are essential to the important work provided by our Nations's hospice programs. Sometimes the smallest contributions can go the longest way in providing support for our patients and their family.
