Vine Maple Place

Summer KidsZone

Vine Maple Place serves single-parent homeless families in our community by providing hope, programs and services to help these families get back on the road to stability. During the summer we have a KidsZone program with themed games and activities in age-approrpiate groups (ages 0-2, 3-5 and 6-12). If you enjoy playing with kids, then join the fun and enrich a child's life this summer. Volunteer either Tuesdays or Thursdays or BOTH!!!

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 1pm, starting June 28th through August 30th.

Note: We accept volunteers 16 or over. If over 18 years of age, a background check will be required.

Mission Statement

Vine Maple Place is a Christian organization that addresses the complex issues of family homelessness. Our mission is to break the cycle of generational homelessness for single parents and their children by offering safety through various housing solutions, building emotional stability and equipping parents for self-sufficiency.


Vine Maple Place utilizes a unique and innovative approach to meet the needs of our families. Recognizing that there is a path that leads to homelessness, we strive to meet families wherever they are in their crisis, toxic stress and trauma. As a team, parents, volunteers and staff work collaboratively to implement a custom action plan that emphasizes each family members' strengths, assets and challenges.
