A professional or a really, really good photographer with a good camera is needed to assist the race photographer. Depending upon the volunteer's skill, the race photographer may want to put him/her at the start line, somewhere along the course, and/or at the awards ceremony.
If it's at the start line, the race photographer may still need the volunteer to shoot along the course or at the awards ceremony.
If it's along the course, the volunteer should be in good condition to hike to whatever location on the course that the race photographer identifies. The volunteer should be an experienced hiker, especially at higher atltitudes, and be prepared for any kind of weather.
Volunteer should be prepared to be at the start line by 7:30 a.m. and stay till the awards ceremony is done--around noon.
A ski lift ticket will be provided for a round trip on the chair lift. Volunteer gets a race shirt.
