Are you looking to have fun while you are volunteering?

Greeters are the first point of contact at Lakeland Hospital, Niles. These volunteers welcome guest to the hospital, assist guests in locating loved ones and guide patients and guests to their destination. This opportunity is great for anyone - those who are active and like to interact with everyone, those who are shy yet still want to get involved in their community, those who are outgoing and want to get up and walk around and even those who are not as mobile and need a volunteer position that does not require a lot of walking. This position is flexible and anyone can do it.

We have volunteers at the Information Desk from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm and our goal is to have volunteers work in pairs so you always have another volunteer with you. For those who don’t want a weekly commitment - we are even looking for substitutes who would come in when regular volunteers are not available. Even those not familiar with the hospital can enjoy this opportunity - it is easy to learn and lots of fun!
